Session Topic: Managing Anxiety & Overwhelm
For Teens Ages 13–17
Is your teen feeling anxious, easily overwhelmed, or unsure how to calm down when stress hits? This Teen Tides workshop focuses on helping teens understand their anxiety, recognize early warning signs, and develop practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
Through interactive activities, discussion, and simple coping strategies, participants will learn how anxiety affects the body and mind—and how to respond in ways that bring relief and control. Led by an experienced therapist who specializes in teen mental health, this group offers a supportive, judgment-free space to build emotional resilience and connection.
Date & Time: Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 6:00–7:30 PM
Location: 838 Walker Rd, Ste 22-3, Dover, DE 19904
Cost: $30 per teen (includes light refreshments and materials)
Group Size: Limited to 6 participants
Registration: Pre-registration and payment are required. No refunds. A brief screening call is also required prior to participation.
Note: This is a skills-based support group and not considered therapy. Insurance does not cover group fees.
