Supervision that actually prepares you for the work.

Becoming a licensed clinical social worker is hard. Not just the hours — the uncertainty, the weight of the work, the moments where you’re not sure you got it right, the cases that stay with you. Good supervision doesn’t just sign off on your hours. It helps you become the clinician you’re meant to be.

That’s what I’m here for.

Who This Is For

This is for pre-licensed social workers in Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware who are working toward their LCSW and looking for a board-approved supervisor who takes the work seriously.

You might be a good fit if you are:

Accumulating hours toward licensure and need a qualified supervisor who is actively engaged — not just a signature.

Early in your career and navigating the gap between what you learned in graduate school and what actually happens in the room with a client.

Working in a setting that doesn’t provide adequate supervision and need an outside supervisor to support your development.

Wanting supervision that goes beyond case review — that helps you understand your own patterns, your clinical instincts, and how to trust yourself in the work.

Ready to be challenged, supported, and held accountable in equal measure.

My Approach to Supervision

I believe good supervision is its own clinical relationship. It requires trust, honesty, and a genuine investment in your growth — not just your licensure hours.

My approach is warm and direct. I’ll celebrate what you’re doing well and I’ll challenge you where you need it. We’ll look at your cases, your clinical reasoning, your countertransference, and the moments that felt hard or confusing. We’ll talk about the work honestly — because that’s how you actually develop as a clinician.

I bring over a decade of diverse clinical experience to supervision — domestic violence, military family advocacy, inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, community health, and private practice. That breadth matters. Whatever setting you’re working in, I’ve likely worked in something close to it.

I’m a board-approved clinical supervisor in Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware — approved to supervise toward both LCSW licensure and professional counselor licensure in Maryland.

Supervision Options

Individual Supervision One-on-one supervision sessions focused entirely on your caseload, your development, and your path to licensure. Sessions are 60 minutes and held via telehealth or in person in Dover, Delaware.

Group Supervision A small group format that combines the depth of individual supervision with the added benefit of learning alongside peers. Group supervision offers perspective, shared learning, and the experience of hearing how other clinicians approach similar challenges. Groups are kept intentionally small to ensure every member gets meaningful attention and airtime.

A note on what supervision isn’t.

Supervision isn’t therapy. But it’s also not just paperwork. The best supervisory relationships are ones where you feel safe enough to say “I don’t know” — and supported enough to figure it out. If you’re looking for that kind of supervision, I’d love to connect.
