Teen Tides: Identifying Emotions

Teen Tides Weekly Workshop
Session Topic: Identifying Emotions
For Teens Ages 13–17
Does your teen struggle to express how they feel, or default to “I don’t know” when asked? This Teen Tides workshop is all about helping teens recognize, name, and understand their emotions — the first step toward better self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Through creative activities, discussion, and interactive tools, participants will explore the emotional spectrum, learn how emotions show up in the body, and begin building skills to identify and manage their feelings in healthy ways. Led by an experienced therapist who specializes in teen mental health, this group offers a supportive, judgment-free space to learn and connect.
